Mission
We are the descendants of enslaved persons with a commitment to research, document, and share the whole story. Through community engagement we learn, we share, and we “Elevate Black Voices” in local and regional conversations.
Vision
We envision a Chesapeake Bay Watershed with clean air, clean water, free from public health hazards, and providing public access to “green spaces and blue waters” along the water’s edge.
Mantra
BoCF is a small nonprofit with an International profile. We can Only Do what we Do through our Volunteers, Our Partners and Our Allies!
